From tell-all biographies to hard-hitting business tomes to practical how-to guides, the best-selling authors at the Texas Conference for Women will help you fill your reading list as you begin the next chapter of you!

The following speakers will be available to meet attendees, answer questions, and sign books in the exhibit hall, adjacent to the on-site BookPeople Conference bookstore.

Due to Hurricane Ike, the early registration discount has been extended.

This includes discounts on individual tickets, tables of ten, and mother-daughter registrations. Students with a valid ID receive half off the ticket price. Register now.

Meet a Speaker Sweepstakes

Invite a friend to join you at the Conference, and if your friend registers, you’ll BOTH have a chance to meet the speaker of your choice!

Discuss life/work balance with Cherie Blair, ask Meg Whitman for the secrets of eBay’s success, talk to Marcus Luttrell about what he learned about overcoming adversity, or find out what Meryl Streep is really like by asking Sarah Jones.

It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet a truly amazing woman (or man!). Ask as many friends as you like to register online and have them enter your name in the “referred by” field. For every friend that registers, you and that friend will be entered in a drawing to meet the speaker of your choice, behind the scenes in the VIP room.

You can send your friends an automated email with information about the Conference, or you can create one of your own. Be sure to tell them about the meet a speaker sweepstakes and ask them to register online and list you as the referrer. Imagine the stories you’ll both have to tell if you win!
The registration deadline for the meet a speaker sweepstakes is October 8, and winners will be notified October 10. Good luck, and we look forward to seeing you at the Conference!
